Our MA in Fashion Styling students have successfully completed the Industry Project developed in collaboration with Collater.al, engaging in a journey dedicated to editorial communication, visual storytelling and the languages of contemporary fashion.
Coordinated by Cristiana Rivellino Santella and guided by Project Leaders Luca Di Marco and Alessandro Timpanaro, the project, titled “Editorial Series – Ambassador Project”, accompanied students in the development of original editorial concepts, encouraging them to explore the role of styling as a narrative tool and the creation of content capable of engaging with today’s evolving digital media landscape.
Following the Brief Launch and the Mid Revision, the Final Presentation represented the conclusion of an intensive journey of research, experimentation and creative development. Students presented their projects to the Collater.al team, showcasing the creative strategies, visual identities and editorial formats developed throughout the months, and sharing the evolution of their ideas from initial research to the final proposals.
Each project was developed through an analysis of contemporary communication languages, with a particular focus on the relationship between fashion, visual culture, communities and digital platforms. Through the creation of original editorial series, students explored the construction of authentic narratives, experimenting with the dialogue between imagery, styling, creative direction, tone of voice and storytelling.
Experiences like this demonstrate how Fashion Styling today goes far beyond image creation, requiring a broad set of skills that includes art direction, editorial communication, visual culture and the ability to design content for different platforms and audiences.
Industry Projects are one of the defining elements of Accademia Costume & Moda’s educational approach. Through collaborations with leading companies, media platforms and creative organisations, students have the opportunity to work on real briefs, understand industry dynamics and develop professional skills directly applicable to the workplace, transforming education into a practical experience deeply connected with the contemporary creative landscape.
Our sincere thanks to the entire Collater.al team for accompanying our students throughout this journey, sharing their expertise, vision and valuable feedback.
