MilanThe Master in Style & Management for the Music Industry is aimed at graduates and / or professionals wishing to experience a professional curriculum based on the development of the creative and economic potential of an artist, a festival, a record label. The course provides competences on strategic, innovative and creative development of the record industry by including also Music Publishing in its broadest meaning. The study path also explores the contemporary styling addressed to the creation of the image of an artist and, at the same time, the complex rules of the sector both in managerial and legal terms through an all-embracing process able to shape professionals able to step in the sector according to their personal inclination but with enough skills to communicate on different levels.
The objective of the Master is to prepare a new generation of professionals expert in the determination, creation, development and management of an artist and of its presence in the Music Industry and entertainment in general. The Master is aimed at the creation of an innovative professional figure able to work on the image of an artist as well as on the aspects related to management by offering a broader vision of the sector.
At the end of the Master in Style & Management for the Music Industry students will be able to pursue a career in art agencies, record labels, publishers, cultural institutions and audiovisual production houses as well as in marketing departments, communication offices for theatres, festivals and concert halls by working as image consultants/stylists directly with artists, musicians, actors, dancers and performers, creative directors able to develop and improve new competences, opportunities, contents and scenarios
The Master is aimed at Graduates of Conservatories, Academies of Fine Arts, Faculty of Economics, DAMS – Discipline Arti Musica Spettacolo (DAMS – Art Music Entertainement Disciplines), Communication Sciences or equivalent qualifications, to those who want to complete and / or deepen their cultural and professional training in the entertainment sector.

The programme provides a global vision of the cultural, artistic and creative industry of the music world. Participants will have the possibility to acquire advanced knowledge and soft-skills along with a deep awareness of the essentials of the artistic management of the record industry by developing the managerial abilities and their application in the main and most innovative specialized techniques of recording, branding, visual identity/styling, marketing and communication management.
The subtle and deep knowledge of the relationship between fashion, creative identity and entertainment and its understanding also with regards to music will provide the students with the competences needed to face this sector with a creative approach as, the birth of the new social phenomena in the arts involves the same mechanisms that make fashion itself a language able to represent its period.
The strategic, legal and managerial competence complete the educational path by offering to participants the opportunity to work in this sector with a preparation that is tested in the course through a project methodology that is made in synergy with institutions and artists.
Culture and arts represent more and more the strategic resource of the single country systems and the most important frontier on which to play competitiveness.
