MilanThe Fashion sector is undergoing a profound transformation that is simultaneously reshaping products, supply chains, languages, consumption models, and value-creation dynamics. Contemporary luxury can no longer be interpreted as an isolated segment, but rather as a complex and interconnected ecosystem in which cultural dimension, industrial capability, symbolic construction, and consumer relationships are structurally intertwined.
Within this context, the Master in Luxury Business at Accademia Costume & Moda has been conceived with the aim of educating a new generation of professionals able to understand, interpret, and govern the complexity of the Fashion System, operating with awareness across the fields of creativity, innovation, and the strategic management of luxury products and services, with particular attention to Made in Italy.
The programme is designed to develop an integrated vision of the system, overcoming fragmentation between disciplinary areas and building competencies that combine culture, design, product, and business. The Master does not merely provide technical tools; it fosters critical and project-based thinking, essential for interpreting the contemporary landscape, anticipating market transformations, and actively contributing to the definition of new models.
Starting from an in-depth understanding of the historical, cultural, and symbolic heritage of fashion and Made in Italy, students are guided in the development of competencies related to brand building and management, product development, communication, and experience design, through to the understanding of organisational processes and business models.
The objective is to shape a hybrid professional profile, capable of combining cultural sensitivity, strategic vision, and managerial expertise, and able to translate creativity into both economic and cultural value while operating effectively in complex and constantly evolving contexts.
The Master prepares professionals to enter the high-end sector with both a strategic and operational perspective, enabling them to work within structured corporate environments as well as to pursue independent entrepreneurial paths.
Main career opportunities include:

The Master in Luxury Business is a one-year programme worth 60 CFA credits (1,500 hours), designed as a progressive pathway that guides students from a critical understanding of the high-end sector to the ability to operate within it independently and with full awareness. Its academic structure is designed to develop, in an integrated way, cultural knowledge, analytical ability, project-based skills, and strategic vision, avoiding any rigid separation between theory and practice. The programme is organised into four progressive levels, corresponding to different degrees of depth and project responsibility.
