From Rome to Paris, Accademia Costume & Moda wins the LVMH PRIZE Graduate Prize for the third time,

Accademia Costume & Moda is pleased to announce the victory of the LVMH GRADUATE PRIZE with Alice Paris, a former student of the Academic Diploma of 1st Level Triennial Costume & Moda (AA18 / 19).
This is the 3rd victory for the Academy, the only Italian fashion school to have ever won the prestigious recognition of the contest organized by the LVMH GROUP. Born in 2013, LVMH Prize is now in its 6th edition and is aimed not only at emerging brands / designers, but also for students of the Academies / Fashion Universities, graduates and undergraduates for the Graduate section.
The Graduate Prize that is awarded to 3 Students of 3 International Schools each year was conferred by Delphine Arnault, Director and Executive Vice President Louis Vuitton, Member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the LVMH Group, in the presence of the creative directors of the the group’s main fashion houses, including Maria Grazia Chiuri (Dior), Nicolas Ghesquière (Louis Vuitton), Clare Waight Keller (Givenchy), Jonathan Anderson (Loewe), Kris Van Assche (Berluti) and the Chairman & CEO Fashion Group LVMH, Sidney Toledano. Together with Alice Paris of Accademia Costume & Moda, they win the Juliette Tréhorel Award from Atelier Chardon Savard, Paris and Daisy Yu from Central Saint Martins, London.
Alice Paris, born in 1996, won with the “SUBURBANA” Men’s Accessories collection project, presented in Alta Roma last January on the occasion of the Talents Academy Fashion Show 2019, in front of a jury of important professionals in the sector, creative directors, line managers, talent scouts and international schools, chaired by Silvia Venturini Fendi. The collection was developed with the excellence of the Italian Manufacture: Tannery Gaiera, Crisden, Lanificio di Sordevolo, Mexas Footwear, Russo di Casandrino, Spazio Chirale, Vasino.

The winnings consist of a prize of € 10,000 for both Alice Paris and the Costume & Fashion Academy, as well as a one-year work experience with a company of the LVMH group, which, in this case, is the Givenchy fashion house.
