Rome, the 26th of November:

Accademia Costume & Moda inaugurates the Academic Year 2018/2019 with an event dedicated to design and experimentation, introduced by Cinzia Malvini, Fashion journalist for La7 and Director of BOOK Moda.

On this occasion also the Irene Brin Prize, established in 1969 by our Founder Rosana Pistolese and which is awarded every year to alumni who have excelled in their careers. This edition it was given to Stefano Russo and handed by Corinne Cavallin, Fendi WW Product & Merchandising Director Donna RTW and Fur.

Together with the Irene Brin Prize was also awarded the first edition of the scholarship dedicated to “Rosana Pistolese” and given to Marco Bucchi, II  yr student our the undergraduate program in Costume & Fashion design. His excellent exam curriculum allowed him to distinguish himself among the other students, winning this important achievement.

The event continued with a panel curated by Paolo Ferrarini (Researcher, teacher and content curator) about Design and experimentation, to which participated  Andrea Incontri (Men’s Creative Director Tod’s and Founder of the Andrea Incontri brand), Marco Rambaldi (Co owner of the homonymous brand), Corinne Cavallin and Stefano Russo.

This was also the occasion to present the Academic offer, and the new Director of Academic Programs of Barbara Trebitsch.
