For the Industry Project “The Woolmark Company, Brioni, Accademia Costume & Moda”, our III Year students (BA in Costume & Fashion), re-interpreted Brioni menswear, using Woolmark’s fabrics, merino wool and the iconic details of contemporary menswear style.

The outfits, completed by a selection of accessories (shoes, travel bags and small leathergoods), were presented during the event Accademia Factory 2017 at the presence of Francesco Magri, Country Manager and Birgit Galen, Global Fashion Coordinator, The Woolmark Company.

All of the outfits have been exhibited at Milano Unica (11th/13th of July) in the space Idea Biella. An example of synergic work between education and industry considered the generosity of the involvement in the process of creating the collections by some of the most important Italian manufacturer companies.

Fabrics have been sponsored by: Fratelli Tallia di Delfino, Lanerie Agnona, Lanificio di Sordevolo, Lanificio Fratelli Cerruti, Filatura di Tollegno, Marzotto Wool, Piacenza Cachemiere, Pontetorto SpA, Reda, Tessilbiella, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Framis.

The students who designed the outfits are Sara Pavani, Jiaqi Zhao, Giulia Saba, Giulia Conti, Maurizio Muzio Medaglia, Alessia Conetta, Flaminia Sebastianelli, Costanza Solaro del Borgo, Giacomo Pavia, Livia Romoli Venturi.

The coordinators: Santo Costanzo, Luigi Mulas Debois
