An introduction to Fashion Design is a taster for all aspiring fashion designers to gain an insight to the various skills and knowledge required. This course will take the student through a small project culminating in a calico prototype of a simple garment.

This courses is designed for

Beginners. Students should have an interest in the fashion subject area and a desire to learn but no previous experience is required. If you have not already made up your mind regarding your choice of degree course this course will also give you a taste of the two dimensional work that a fashion designer undertakes and the work produced support an application to a fashion course at degree level.

ACM Summer Courses include two visits to Museums / Exhibitions that relate to the area of study, within the 40 taught hours. Students will have time to explore all that the city of Rome has to offer and will be given advice and support from the academy to culturally explore and make the most of their free time while in Rome.
